Egon Veermäe is the Chief Operations Officer of Eurora where he is building an AI-backed cross-border e-commerce compliance platform to make the industry leaner, faster and more cost-efficient by automating every aspect of the cross-border supply chain.

In his previous role, Egon worked as CEO and General Director of the Social and Pension Insurance Fund in Estonia, where he developed the first proactive and fully automated service for citizens.

Egon has also worked in the Estonian Tax and Customs Board as a Deputy Director, building one of the most competitive tax systems in the world and has acquired over 20 years of experience developing and digitalizing public services, including 15 years focused on tax and customs.
